Paint correction removes defects from your clear coat that washing alone can't fix. Here's what that means in plain terms.

Paint correction uses machine polishers and cutting compounds to safely remove a microscopic layer of clear coat - leveling the surface and eliminating the defects trapped within it. The result is deeper gloss, better clarity, and paint that looks the way it did when the car was new.

CarPro CQUARTZ UK 3.0 is a hydrophobic ceramic coating that bonds chemically to your clear coat. Once cured it repels water, dirt, and contaminants - making your car easier to maintain and keeping it cleaner between washes.

PAINT CORRECTION FAQ

CAN ALL SCRATCHES BE REMOVED?

Not always. Scratches that have cut through the clear coat into the base coat cannot be corrected by polishing - those require respray. We inspect every panel before starting and tell you exactly what we can and can't improve.

DOES CERAMIC COATING PREVENT SCRATCHES?

No - ceramic coating adds hardness and chemical resistance but it won't prevent swirl marks from improper washing. Think of it as protection against UV, contaminants, and the elements - not a scratch-proof shield.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Single stage correction typically runs 4 to 6 hours depending on vehicle size and paint condition. Correction + coating same day adds another 2 to 3 hours for application and initial cure.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN A CERAMIC COATING?

Hand wash only - no drive-through car washes. Use pH neutral soap and proper microfiber towels. Avoid harsh chemicals. The coating makes washing easier and faster but proper technique still matters to preserve the life of the coating.
